The two cheapest days of the week to fly: "It's almost always cheaper."

Summer vacation is just around the corner, and some people are already looking for last-minute trips to enjoy a few days of relaxation away from home.
But although flight prices are generally higher now than at any other time of year, there are some tricks for booking flights at a significantly lower price.
Dawn Morwood, co-director of the website Cheap Deals Away, reveals in statements reported by the Daily Mail that there are two days a week when flying is cheaper than the other five.
" Tuesday and Wednesday departures are almost always cheaper than weekend flights," says Morwood. She says that if you can be flexible with your departure date, it's worth checking the price of your flight on different days.
The professional also says that booking a flight as early as possible isn't always the best way to save money.
"I've seen people book flights ten months in advance thinking they had a bargain, only to see the price for the same route drop by more than 200 euros per person just weeks before departure," he says.
"Airlines use dynamic pricing, which means they constantly adjust based on demand predictions," Morwood continues, adding that waiting until the last minute is also a risky way to travel.
The expert explains that tourists could face "inflated prices" and "limited availability," in addition to being forced to "compromise" on the "quality of accommodation" if they book late.
Generally speaking, the travel expert says the ideal time to book a short-haul flight to Europe is six to eight weeks before departure.
For long-haul flights, such as those connecting Europe with other continents, it's best to book eight to twelve weeks in advance of your trip , Morwood concludes.
